Crysis 2 Map Focus - Lighthouse

Welcome to another Crysis 2 Map Focus article, this time looking at: Lighthouse

Lighthouse is based on Roosevelt Island and is a fairly narrow map meaning a lot of battles are taking place nearly non-stop! View the flythrough and check out the tactical overview and let us know what you think.

Lighthouse Description

On Roosevelt Island the Lighthouse dominates one end whilst the remains of the Smallpox Hospital occupies the other. This long thin map with high ground at either end is a sniper’s paradise. Whilst in the middle use cover and stealth to avoid being picked off. Try the Gauss rifle and give cover to your flag runners during Capture the Flag matches.

i love this map because its so friggin awesome to kill those sniping babies on the lighthouse.... also another for loving it is because its hard and i like challenges!! crytek rocks!!

Snipers Paradise, sure..but also a sniper-hater killing ground!What a great place to neck-snap, stealth-kill Snipas as they toggle their Scope Zoom!

UT Facing Worlds anyone? Love it! I used to love capture the flag on that level. Snipe-tastic!
Yeaaaah! The best map in fps history lol. This map looks really nice too. Can't wait to be able to play on all of these new playgrounds lol.

There is a Liberty Statue head in the middle of NY.

The graphics look bad because they have to make the game be able to perform on console systems. Thats the problem were facing now a days because game developers drop the quality of games to fit consoles, it would be a much different story if the games were PC exclusive.
